The France international could make his first appearance for the Catalan giants in almost a month in their final game of the year.
Ousmane Dembele has returned to training for FC Barcelona and will be a part of the squad to face Eibar, Ronald Koeman confirmed on Monday.
The winger picked up a hamstring injury in the shock 2-1 defeat to Cadiz on December 5 and has since been on the sidelines.
Dembele’s latest injury setback forced him to miss each of Barca’s last four La Liga fixtures as well as the clash against Juventus on the final matchday of the Champions League group stage.
“We will name squad tomorrow but Ousmane’s good, he’s been training with the team for a while,” Koeman stated in his pre-match press conference, as per Marca.
“So, in theory, he will be in the squad tomorrow.”
Dembele’s return will be a huge boost for Barcelona especially considering Lionel Messi is set to sit out the match against Eibar on Tuesday.
Koeman’s side have fallen much behind early in the La Liga title race as they sit at fifth position in the standings with 24 points – eight points behind leaders Atletico Madrid and second-placed Real Madrid.
