Check out some of the biggest deals to go down on deadline day of the 2022 summer transfer window.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Barcelona to Chelsea

In the dying moments of Thursday’s transfer deadline, Chelsea finally confirmed it. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back in the Premier League, only this time on the blue end of London. He cost the club €12 million to sign from Barcelona.

Daniel James – Leeds to Fulham

The Wales international completed a season-long loan to Fulham from Leeds United as he seeks regular football ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Antony – Ajax to Manchester United

Manchester United finally confirmed Antony’s €100 million transfer from Ajax was complete on deadline day. The Brazilian winger has signed a contract with the club until June 2027.

Denis Zakaria – Juventus to Chelsea

The Blues signed Denis Zakaria from Juventus on loan for the 2022/23 campaign. They can purchase the midfielder permanently in next summer’s transfer window.

Manuel Akanji – Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City

The Premier League champions signed Borussia Dortmund defender Manuel Akanji for €17.5 million. The Switzerland international has committed to a contract until June 2027.

Layvin Kurzawa – PSG to Fulham

Fulham signed Layvin Kurzawa on a season long loan from Paris Saint-Germain. The 29-year-old left-back will be keen to get some minutes under his belt, having not played at all so far this season.

Billy Gilmour – Chelsea to Brighton

After spending last season on loan at Norwich City, Billy Gilmour has left Chelsea for Brighton permanently. The Scottish midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Seagulls. The deal cost a reported £10 million.

Wilfried Gnonto – Zurich to Leeds

The 18-year-old forward has joined Leeds United from Swiss Super League champions FC Zurich. He has signed a contract with the Premier League club until June 2027.

Hector Bellerin – Arsenal to Barcelona

After 11 years, Hector Bellerin has parted ways with Arsenal to re-join boyhood club Barcelona. The right-back had his Gunners contract terminated, meaning Barca didn’t pay a transfer fee.

James Garner – Manchester United to Everton

Everton have signed Manchester United midfielder James Garner in a deal worth £15 million. The 21-year-old, who impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last term, has signed a contract until June 2026.

Arthur Melo – Juventus to Liverpool

The Juventus midfielder has joined Liverpool on a season long loan. The deal does not include a buy option.

Ainsley Maitland Niles – Arsenal to Southampton

After loan spells at Roma and West Brom, Ainsley Maitland Niles has joined Southampton on another loan. The Saints have the option to buy the Arsenal midfielder at the end of the season.

Sergino Dest – Barcelona to AC Milan

The United States international has joined AC Milan on a season long loan from Barcelona. The Italian champions have an option to buy the right-back next summer.

Carlos Soler – Valencia to PSG

The Valencia midfielder has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a contract until June 2027. The Parisians paid a reported transfer fee of around €20 million.

Francesco Acerbi – Lazio to Inter

Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi has joined Inter Milan on a loan for the 2022/23 season. The deal reportedly includes a buy option for the 34-year-old.

Julian Draxler – PSG to Benfica

Benfica have signed Julian Draxler on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder will hope to rediscover his best form in Portugal after struggling for game time at the French capital.

Martin Dubravka – Newcastle to Man Utd

Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has joined Manchester United on a season long loan. The Red Devils have an obligation to buy if certain clauses are met.

Willian – Corinthians to Fulham

After one year away from the Premier League, Willian is back. The former Chelsea and Arsenal winger has joined Fulham on a free transfer following his exit from Brazilian club Corinthians.

Idrissa Gueye – PSG to Everton

Everton have re-signed Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent deal. The midfielder, who previously made 99 appearances in the Premier League for the club from 2016 until 2019, has signed a two-year contract.

Wout Faes – Reims to Leicester City

Leicester City have signed Wout Faes from French side Reims in a £15 million deal. The Belgian defender will replace Wesley Fofana, who left the Foxes for Chelsea recently. He has signed a contract until June 2027.

Carlos Vinicius – Benfica to Fulham

The former Tottenham man joined Fulham from Benfica on deadline day in a deal reportedly worth £5 million. He has signed a three-year contract at the west London club.
