A thrilling deadline might see the Red Devils sign a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea have continued their efforts to sign their midfield targets on the transfer window’s deadline day.

The Gunners have reportedly completed a move for Jorginho, signing the Italian star on a £12m deal from Chelsea.

Following Mohamed Elneny’s knee injury, the Gunners made two failed bids to sign Moises Caicedo. However, they managed to improve their squad depth by adding an experienced midfielder to their ranks on Tuesday.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Manchester United are dealing with a similar problem. Christian Eriksen’s shocking injury has forced the Red Devils to look for a deadline-day replacement.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League giants are in active negotiations with Bayern Munich to sign Marcel Sabitzer on a loan deal. The Sky Sports journalist claims Sabitzer is “more than happy” to join Erik ten Hag’s project at Old Trafford.

Similar to Man Utd, Barcelona end their relatively quiet transfer window with a deadline-day move.

The Catalans have reportedly agreed to sell Hector Bellerin to Sporting Lisbon. The former Arsenal star will replace Pedro Porro, who is on the verge of joining Tottenham.

Bellerin joins the Portuguese side on a permanent move, with Barca reportedly including a sell-on clause in his contract.
