The Red Devils goalkeeper has lifted the lid on how Cristiano Ronaldo has made a positive impact both and off the pitch.
David de Gea has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo’s impact at Manchester United goes beyond simply scoring goals in every match.
Following trophy-laden spells at Real Madrid and Juventus across the past 12 years, Ronaldo returned to United in the summer and has carried off from where he left off back in 2009.
The Portuguese ace has scored four goals in three games, including a debut brace against Newcastle in the Premier League, and has become a role model for the squad.
🗣 "The spirit he has already, the ambition is massive."

“I think the impact is already there,” De Gea told Sky Sports about the impact Ronaldo has made at Old Trafford.
“He has scored three goals in four games, so I think it is amazing to have him back home.
“The experience he has, the ambition is massive. He’s already a legend in the club, so I think for the players, for the young lads, for everyone, he’s a great guy to see every day how he works in the gym, how he treats himself, how he takes care of his body, and of himself.
“He is an amazing player, and it’s great to see him here every day working hard and helping the team.”
Ronaldo and United return to action on Saturday at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League.
