Belgium are considered one of the favorites to win this summer’s tournament but their captain is unsure about the team’s chances.
Kevin De Bruyne sees “at least eight teams” that can win Euro 2020 as he admits “it isn’t going to be easy” for Belgium.
Belgium beat Denmark 2-1 last time out, with De Bruyne playing a crucial role in the comeback win.
The Manchester City playmaker set Thorgan Hazard up for the equalizer and himself netted the winner after coming on in the second half to make sure his side make it two wins out of two in their Euro 2020 campaign.
Qualification to the last-16, though, is still not guaranteed for the Red Devils, who play Finland in their final group stage match on Monday.
“[We want] to go as far as we can. It’s difficult to say [about Belgium’s chances at Euro 2020],” De Bruyne said, as Marca reports.
“It depends on who we play. The goal is to win [Euro 2020]. A tournament is decided in moments. We know that as players. Everything has to be perfect.
“There are at least eight teams that can win this trophy. It’s not going to be easy.
“If I had to pick one, Italy have been the most impressive so far.”
