Details of David Alaba’s contract at Real Madrid have been leaked, exposing the insane amount of money the Austrian will earn in Spain.
David Alaba’s first month at Real Madrid has been eventful to say the least.
The Austrian was unveiled as a Real Madrid player at the beginning of the month on a free transfer from Bayern Munich. He then tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. And now details of his contract have been leaked online.
Der Spiegel was behind it. The German outlet has published its findings on Alaba’s five-year deal in Spain and the figures mentioned are quite insane.
Der Spiegel has leaked David Alaba's contract with Real Madrid. The Austrian will earn over €115m over the length of his 5-year contract (€19.47m fixed wages/year). Alaba got a signing on fee of €17.7m as a free agent. Zahavi got €5.2m as a commission – Alaba's family €6.3m

According to the report, Alaba will earn €115 million over the course of his stay at Real Madrid. The club will pay him €19.47m-per-year and an additional €17.7m signing-on fee. His agent, Pini Zahavi, took home €5.2m for commission and the defender’s family got €6.2m.
On the downside, however, Alaba would have to pay Real Madrid €850m to terminate his deal.
Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk, added that Zahavi asked that former club Bayern Munich pay him and Alaba’s family an additional €10 million in the event the player had signed on in Germany.
Zahavi has asked Bayern also for a fee of 10 million euros for himself and Alaba’s family… https://t.co/PfM18dQ5q7
