A goal conceded inside the final ten minutes saw Spurs unable to seal a win and in turn, fail to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

Sunday’s fixture at Selhurst Park ended with a point apiece as Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace.

The 2000 Palace fans were in for a delight as Vicente Guaita heroically earned his side a point and ended the visiting side’s winning run by making a remarkable five saves, with two of those coming in the dying minutes.

Guaita made a flying fingertip save to deny Eric Dier at minute 90+3, with the keeper at full stretch push the defender’s curling free-kick.

The Spanish shot-stopper also made a spectacular double save as he first prevented Ben Davies’ over-hit cross from creeping in before keeping out Harry Kane‘s close-range strike.

Spurs scored in the match through Kane who hit his ninth Premier League goal of the season midway through the first half while Palace deservedly equalized through Jeffrey Schlupp, who made Hugo Lloris pay for spilling the ball.

Jose Mourinho’s men remain at the top of the table with 25 points but could lose their lead if Liverpool beat Fulham.
