As doubts over Ronaldo’s future continue to make headlines, an Italian journalist has claimed to know his final career plans.

Italian journalist Claudio Raimondi claims Cristiano Ronaldo wants to spend two years at Sporting CP after his Juventus contract ends in 2022.

Raimondi also ruled out Ronaldo leaving Juventus this summer, as the star wants to honor his contract with the Bianconeri, along with returns to former clubs Real Madrid and Manchester United.

An emotional comeback to boyhood club Sporting is the only destination on the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s mind.

“Ronaldo has an idea for his future that we are going to reveal here first hand,” Raimondi told Italian TV show Mediaset’s ‘Pressing’ program.

“He wants to end his cycle at Juventus and then play for two years at Sporting.

“Cristiano has no intention of leaving Juventus, he wants to honor the contract, which ends in 2022.

“There is no chance of a return to Spain and Real Madrid, whereas Manchester United have no financial strength for a move.

“There are no conditions for Ronaldo to leave Juventus, especially for personal reasons and the connection with his sponsors.”
