Ronaldo was once again on target for Juventus over the weekend and set three new impressive feats in the process.

Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona cost Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus a chance to make up ground in the Serie A title battle.

But while things didn’t go to plan in northern Italy, Ronaldo still made his mark by scoring his 19th league goal of the season. It was a typical ruthless CR7-style finish, set-up beautifully by Federico Chiesa inside the box.

Not only did it extend the Portuguese’s lead at the top of the Italian goal charts, it set the following three stats.

47 goals in 47 Serie A matches

According to Opta, Ronaldo has scored exactly 47 goals in his last 47 league games.

Nobody in Serie A history has scored so many goals in such a short amount of time. When you consider all the greats to have played in Italy, like Ronaldo Nazario and Alessandro Del Piero, that’s one hell of an achievement.

Beats Dybala’s Serie A goal tally for Juventus

Paulo Dybala will probably want to look away for this one.

The Argentine, who has been with Juventus since July 2015, has seen his goal record in the Italian league for Juventus beaten by Ronaldo already. The Portuguese ace scored his 71st Serie A goal on Saturday, which surpasses Dybala’s tally of 70 goals.

Third-best away goal record this season (14 goals)

Owning your opponents at home is great, but beating them in their own turf regularly takes something special.

But Ronaldo is no ordinary player, with 14 of his 26 goals in all competitions this season coming on the road. Only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah have better tallies than the 36-year-old on 16 goals each.
