The devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey have claimed over 50,000 lives to date.
Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a care package to victims of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.
Today marks a month since earthquakes shock northern Syria and southern Turkey on February 6. Over 50,000 people lost their lives, while many are still missing and millions are homeless.
Leading figures from the football world have helped raise funds to support these victims by making donations, participating in fundraisers, and auctioning off signed jerseys.
Now Ronaldo has sent a plane full of care items to the areas devastated by the natural disaster, according to the Daily Mail.

The report states the Al Nassr captain has paid for tents, food packages, bedding, baby food, milk, and medical supplies for the victims in Syria and Turkey.
The tragic scenes and huge death toll are said to have deeply affected Ronaldo. His gesture has sparked hope that other sporting figures will follow suit.
On Friday, Ronaldo also met Nabil Saeed, a Syrian boy who told rescue workers of his dream to meet the Portuguese icon on social media, before Al Nassr’s 3-1 win over Al Batin.
“When I saw Ronaldo, I thought it was a dream,” Saeed told Reuters.
“I didn’t believe myself. When this dream would end, I didn’t know. I pray to God that it will not be a dream. I wish everyone could see Ronaldo. He is [a] very nice person.”
