The five-time Ballon d’Or winner posted a message to his well-wishers on social media on his big day.
Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday with three birthday cakes.
The forward posted pictures on his Instagram of himself celebrating his special day alongside family and friends, including his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and eldest son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
“Thank you, everyone for all the birthday messages,” Ronaldo wrote in the caption. “Grateful to have spent the day with my family and friends.”
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker scored his first goal for Al Nassr last Friday. He slotted home an injury-time penalty to salvage a 2-2 draw against Al Fateh.

Ronaldo and Al Nassr will return to action on Thursday in a must-win game at Al-Wehda. They may lead the Saudi Pro League, but only by goal difference as Al-Shabab and Al-Ittihad are level with them on 34 points.
