Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has shared his sympathy for teammate Eden Hazard after yet another injury setback.

Thibaut Courtois is hopeful Eden Hazard can get back to playing on the pitch soon.

The forward was ruled out of action after yet another injury setback. A report released by Real Madrid yesterday confirmed the player had a muscle injury in his right leg.

Hazard was absent as Real Madrid labored to a 1-0 win over Real Valladolid on Wednesday night.

The Belgian is yet to feature for Los Blancos this season and continues with injury struggles that plagued him for all of last season.

Courtois spared a minute to speak on Hazard and hopes his compatriot can bounce back stronger.

“Hazard is a little sad, he was training very well, it’s a little setback. It’s not the ankle,” Courtois said post-match as quoted by Goal

“I hope he’s back soon. He was looking forward to playing again.”

Zidane was also disappointed to see the attacker ruled out once again and also shared Courtois’s optimism of a swift recovery.

As it stands, there is no recovery date for the Belgian but some reports have claimed he could be out for a number of weeks.
