The Nerazzurri are set to be presented with the trophy for which they worked hard all season after their match on Sunday.

Inter Milan intend to “finish the season in the best way”, says Antonio Conte ahead of his side’s final match of the Serie A campaign.

Inter were crowned the Serie A champions at the start of the month after their nearest rival in the title race, Atalanta, failed to get all three points against Sassuolo.

The Nerazzurri’s title triumph, their first one in over a decade, ended Juventus‘ long-running reign in Italy as the Bianconeri had won nine straight titles from 2012 to 2020.

The champions-elect welcome Udinese on Sunday for the 38th match of the Serie A campaign. Fans will return to San Siro after a long time, and Conte is looking forward to “making the supporters proud”.

“There’s one last game to go with a very good side like Udinese and we must push to the end to finish the season in the best way,” the Italian tactician told Inter TV.

“We will lift the Scudetto trophy and want to do it after a good performance. Having 1,000 fans in the stadium will also be a sign of starting to get back to normal. Don’t forget, we are all here with the objective of making our supporters proud.

“Udinese are a good team, very physical, who allow few spaces and then try to counter. Quite rightly, they will want to end on a high too against the Champions of Italy.”
