PSG youth academy graduate, Kingsley Coman scored against them to end their Champions League aspirations in nightmares.

Bayern Munich were the better side on the night. They bosses possession and did not allow PSG any freedom on the night. Kylian Mbappe and Neymar came close but their efforts were thwarted by Manuel Neuer.

In the end, it was a solitary strike from Kingsley Coman which made the difference. Coman had his development roots at Parc des Princes and his goal was a bittersweet moment.

The France international was pleased with his efforts on the night but admitted he felt bad for PSG. He hailed Les Parisians for their impressive performance but stated that Bayern were always in complete control of the game.

“It’s an extraordinary feeling, a lot of happiness. I’m 100 percent Bayern, but it makes me a bit sick for PSG,” Goal quoted Coman.

“We’ve been trying to keep the game under control from the start. We won and we didn’t take a goal today, that’s the most important thing.

“Paris played a great game, we played a great game and we’re really happy.”

It was an end all Bayern Munich fans would have hoped for. They add the Champions League title to their already accumulated Bundesliga and DFB Pokal trophies.
