The World Cup winner’s career at Allianz Arena finally appears to be taking off after a string of serious injury problems.
Kingsley Coman has ruled out a move away from Bayern Munich amid rumored interest from the Premier League.
Coman was linked with a switch to Manchester United towards the end of the summer transfer window, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer supposedly identifying him as a fallback option behind primary target Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils failed to get neither, reports linking the French winger to Old Trafford has started to resurface with the winter market now open.
Elsewhere, Manchester City sold Leroy Sane to Bayern in July and are yet to sign a replacement for him. And Coman is understood to be one of the players in the Sky Blues shortlist.
“It’s good to know that good teams are interested in me, it gives me additional confidence,” Coman said about the transfer rumors, speaking to SportBild.
“But I have a contract here until 2023, I’m just thinking of Bayern. It’s all good, I’m happy.”
Scoring five goals and registering nine assists in 15 appearances, Coman has been one of Bayern’s standout performers this season.
“I had the feeling that I could be used less often,” he admitted of his fear that came with Sane’s arrival in the team. “I’m 24, that’s an age I have to play! Fortunately, my fear did not come true.”
