Comparisons between Pulisic and Hazard have restarted after the Blues winger’s impressive return from injury.

Christian Pulisic finds comparisons with Eden Hazard to be ‘a huge compliment’, but the winger revealed he hasn’t modeled his game on the Chelsea legend or on any other player for that matter.

The 22-year-old has recently overcome recurring injury issues and featured in four of the club’s last five Premier League games.

The trip to Wolves earlier this month, in particular, caught the eye of Paul Scholes. The Manchester United legend was very impressed and branded Pulisic as ‘the closest thing to Eden Hazard’.

“It’s a huge compliment,” Pulisic told the club’s website on Scholes’ comments.

“As I’ve said before, Hazard was a huge player for this club and I’ll never try to compare myself to him, but coming from a guy like Paul Scholes, it’s a big compliment.

“There’s no one obvious player I model my game on. I like to take a lot of things from different players.

“I’ve learned a lot from Hazard’s game, from watching him and watching his highlights, and there’s a lot of players like that. I’m trying to learn every day.”

Pulisic will hope to deliver another great performance in Chelsea’s trip to Arsenal on Saturday evening.
