Pulisic is open to taking a significant pay cut to land a move to Serie A.

Chelsea are reportedly demanding a €20m fee to sell Christian Pulisic ahead of the next season.

The USMNT star is approaching the final year of his current deal at Stamford Bridge. A contract extension seems unlikely, while Pulisic’s chances of securing regular playing time under Mauricio Pochettino are also slim.

AC Milan have emerged as the American star’s main suitors in recent weeks. The Blues are open to selling Pulisic but have their own valuation of the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan hope to sign Pulisic for €15m ahead of the next season. However, Chelsea have made it clear that they will reject offers below €20m.

Chelsea signed Pulisic on a £57.6m move in 2019. The American star has made 145 appearances for the Blues, helping them win the Champions League in 2021. As Chelsea prepare to spend their first season under Pochettino, growing competition in their midfield has convinced Pulisic to push for a summer exit.

Speaking to ESPN on his future, Pulisic said earlier this month: “It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing.

“I want to find that joy at a club level again, for sure.”

In addition to Milan, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus have shown interest in signing the 24-year-old.
