Chelsea’s recent announcement of Ben Chilwell means the likelihood of Emerson Palmieri moving to Inter just got stronger.

Over the past few weeks, Emerson Palmieri has been linked with a move to Inter Milan. The Blues’ recent transfer activity hints that move could definitely happen.

Chelsea have been pretty active in the summer window so far. Ben Chilwell’s arrival from Leicester City takes the Blues spending spree to over £100m this summer.

There is still more to come if they complete the signing of Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.

With new additions joining the foray, it is expected a number of players would leave as well. Emerson falls under that category.

Football-Italia claim that Ben Chilwell’s arrival at Chelsea could push the 26-year-old to an exit from the club.

Antonio Conte was the one who signed Emerson from Roma during his time as Chelsea boss.

He’s now at Inter and is hoping to see a re-union with the Italian defender. As per the report, Chelsea will look for €15-20m to part ways with Emerson.

In other similar news, left-back Cristiano Biraghi, who was on loan with Inter has been sent back to Fiorentina. Hinting all the more that Inter will intensify their efforts to sign Emerson.
