Thomas Tuchel’s men have one leg in the semi-finals, but the English left-back suggests the tie is far from over yet.

Ben Chilwell has warned his Chelsea teammates to avoid complacency against Porto while reminding them the “job is only half done”.

Chelsea came back with a 2-0 victory when they visited Porto at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals last week.

A moment of magic from Mason Mount saw the Blues take the lead near the half-hour mark and Chilwell doubled it five minutes before time, leaving the Portuguese side a mountain to climb in the second leg.

“If you look at the first leg, we knew going into that game that it was going to be a very physical game,” the English left-back said, via Express.

“They are a very strong outfit with a lot of technically gifted players, but I think the manager touched on the fact they are a very proud team as well and it is the semi-finals of the Champions League up for grabs. It is definitely not over.

“We are not going to go into tomorrow complacent because we know the job is only half done. We know it is important we go into the game with the same mentality as we did for the first game.”
