Ex-Juventus legend Alessio Tacchinardi is convinced that Federico Chiesa will be a Ballon d’Or winner in the next three or four years.

Federico Chiesa has the qualities of Pavel Nedved according to Alessio Tacchinardi and could potentially win a Ballon d’Or in the coming future.

At the young age of 23, Chiesa has transformed into a high-rated forward at both club and country level. With his crucial role at Juventus and the recent Euro 2020 fame, the Italian seems at the best of his game.

Juve icon Tacchinardi, who racked 400 appearances for the Turin club across 11 years thinks highly of Chiesa. He told Tuttosport: “The years in which we have to repeat ourselves, or continue to grow, are the hardest.”

“For Chiesa, it will be extremely difficult to meet the expectations. I have heard talk about him winning the Ballon d’Or in three or four years: I agree.”

“I see the same poison that Pavel Nedved had. He has enormous qualities; he dribbles left and right and can shoot with very little space.”

“Last year he touched the border of the top players. I believe he will get there this year and [Massimiliano] Allegri, who has always been a champion, can help him.”

Chiesa managed to score 14 goals throughout 43 games during his debut season with Bianconeri. Also, alongside superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, the youngster has evolved his game to a greater magnitude.
