A massive injury boost might help Graham Potter build his Chelsea lineup faster.

N’Golo Kante has returned to Chelsea’s training ahead of their Premier League match against Crystal Palace.

The French star suffered a hamstring injury during the Blues’ 2-2 draw against Tottenham earlier this season. Having missed six games since then, Kante is now on the verge of returning back to the pitch.

“N’Golo Kante has returned to part training at Cobham after missing Chelsea’s last six matches with a hamstring injury,” Chelsea wrote on their official website.

“It’s welcome news for Graham Potter ahead of a mammoth month ahead, with nine matches scheduled across October in all competitions.”

Kante has dealt with a number of fitness issues in recent seasons that has impacted his form at both club and international levels.

The 31-year-old’s return is good news for Didier Deschamps, whose France side have struggled for consistency recently.

Les Bleus suffered another unexpected defeat against Denmark on Sunday as they continued their poor run in the UEFA Nations League.

Kante will most likely miss his side’s upcoming clash against Palace. However, Graham Potter will have the experienced midfielder back at his disposal by the time the Blues host Milan in the Champions League next week.
