The USMNT star’s father had expressed his ‘sadness’ over his son’s situation at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel insists he has no problems with Christian Pulisic after a controversial Tweet from the player’s dad.

Mark Pulisic shared a Tweet last week, reflecting on his son’s situation at Chelsea.

“The sad thing is he loves the club, teammates, and London… puts his heart and soul into being a pro. Onwards and upwards my boy… big six months ahead.”

Pulisic’s father went on to delete the post a few minutes later. However, Tuchel reacted to the marks after a reporter asked him about his relationship with the American star.

“I am not concerned if the player’s father says he does not love me [on Twitter],” the German boss told a press conference ahead of his side’s upcoming clash against Wolves.

“As ever, we have our reasons to choose our line-up and at this level you will never see happy faces when not selected. Between me and Christian, we have zero problems.”

Pulisic scored the match-winner for Chelsea in their 1-0 win over West Ham two weeks ago. However, Tuchel only used him as a second-half substitute in the Blues’ 1-0 defeat against Everton last week.

The USMNT star has made 19 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring five goals and providing an assist. Let’s see if Tuchel returns the 23-year-old to his lineup this weekend.
