Chelsea supporters go crazy as the dynamic duo score for Germany

Chelsea’s new signings displayed their goal-scoring abilities as Germany drew 3-3 against Switzerland in a thrilling contest.

Chelsea newbies Timo Werner and Kai Havertz both scored for Germany on Tuesday night. Consequently, the Blues supporters went wild on social media.

Werner and Havertz joined Frank Lampard’s team for a total value of £126million during the transfer window. Subsequently, the Germans left RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen respectively. 

Although, the duo struggled to light a spark at Stamford Bridge. They failed to register Premier League goals between them in Chelsea’s initial four matches.

Nevertheless, Werner and Havertz netted for Germany in a heart-throbbing 3-3 draw against Switzerland this evening.

Mario Gavranovic put the visitors ahead early in the first half. Though, the duo combined to equalize further in the game. Werner found the back of the frame with an assist from Havertz.

Furthermore, Chelsea speedster raced his way to the box to put one past Yann Sommer from a difficult angle. 

Evidently, Chelsea fans expressed their emotions through social media. And, twitter filled with harmonious comments about the German duo.

One wrote: “Werner and Havertz popping off tonight”.

“Werner and Havertz scoring tonight. You just love to see it,” said another.

A third commented: “Havertz & Werner, the Chelsea wonder boys”.

Another warned their upcoming Premier League opponents: “Havertz and Werner scored? Get ready Southampton”.

While one quipped: “Without Kai Havertz and Timo Werner Germany are basically San Marino.”

Werner and Havertz have not scored in the English league. Though the duo opened their accounts in the Carabao Cup.

The former scored in the 1-1 draw for Chelsea against Tottenham. But, the Londoners faced defeat in the penalty shootout.

The latter scored a sublime hat-trick in Chelsea’s 6-0 victory over Barnsley.
