The Roma forward has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea ahead of the next season.
Thiago Silva has asked Paulo Dybala if he would move to Chelsea this summer.
Dybala spent a fantastic debut campaign at Roma last season, registering 18 goal contributions across all competitions. His performances have attracted interest from several top clubs, with Chelsea emerging as the favourites to sign him ahead of the next campaign.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Thiago Silva was asked about Dybala’s potential move to Stamford Bridge.
“I’ve asked Paulo Dybala if it’s true that he’s coming to Chelsea, but he didn’t answer!” the veteran defender said.
“He’s a top player, he’d be a massive signing for us — I’d like it.
“Pulisic is good guy, he’s gonna do very well at Milan, same as Loftus Cheek.”
According to widespread reports in Italian media, Dybala’s release clause for non-Serie A sides is set at around €12m (£10.25m).
Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly considered signing his countryman during his stints at Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham. However, Calciomercato claims there’s still a high possibility that Dybala would sign an improved contract at Roma this summer.
After reaching two European finals in the past two seasons, Jose Mourinho seems to be preparing his side for a Scudetto challenge.
The Gialorossi have added Evan Ndicka, Houssem Aouar, and Diego Llorente to their ranks this summer. On the other hand, Tammy Abraham’s long-term injury makes Dybala increasingly crucial to Roma’s attacking line.
