Ahead of a difficult string of fixtures, Chelsea have received positive news regarding two of their important players.

Chelsea have greeted two of their key players back to full training ahead of a difficult Premier League campaign.

Defensive duo Andreas Christensen and Trevoh Chalobah are ready to set the ground running. They were out with Covid and a hamstring problem respectively during the winter break.

The Blues are looking forward to a strong return after being sent off-duty for a week by Thomas Tuchel. Christensen and Chalobah were pictured training with the rest of the Chelsea squad on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Reece James was not seen with the players but is said to be recovering well. In fact, reports suggest that the winger will be back before the FIFA Club World Cup fixture later this month.

Nevertheless, Chelsea will face League One side Plymouth Argyle at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup.

Later, the Londoners will fly to Abu Dhabi for a crucial Club World Cup match. Christensen and Chalobah are expected to feature in the game along with James.

Moreover, the trio are in prospect of full fitness before Chelsea’s knockout stage in the Champions League.

They play the first leg of the Round of 16 tie against Lille on February 22. And they will also lock horns with Liverpool in the EFL Cup final at Wembley on February 27.
