A report claims Thomas Tuchel has Juventus star Paulo Dybala in his summer plans. The Blues might be ready to swap one of their players.

If reports are to be believed, Chelsea are well in the running to sign Paulo Dybala this summer. In their quest to sign the Juventus star, the Blues might be ready to part ways with either Timo Werner, Jorginho, or Christian Pulisic.

Thomas Tuchel is starting to put plans in place for his first transfer window in charge of the Blues. The German will have to play his cards right given how things have played out for Chelsea on the transfer scene.

The Blues heavily backed Lampard with over a £200m transfer kitty last summer. Timo Werner and Kai Havertz came in as part of a big spending spree at the time. However, the German duo has failed to hit the heights. Many even believe those factors played a part in Lampard’s eventual sacking.

Regardless, Tuchel has kept faith with his fellow Germans and is working on unlocking their true potential.

However, Italian outlet Calciomercato claims that Chelsea are prepared to let ex-RB Leipzig star Werner leave this summer.

Tuchel has apparently identified Dybala as his priority target and he may have to part with one of his top stars to capture the Argentine.

As per the report, Juventus will have the option to choose from one of three Chelsea stars.

The most likely to be involved in any swap deal is midfielder Jorginho. For a while now, the Italian has been linked with a return to Serie A.

Maurizio Sarri wanted to be reunited with the Italian when he was in charge of the Old Lady. Also, current boss Andrea Pirlo is also said to be a keen admirer.

Another option on the table is Werner, who has notched 10 goals in all competitions for Chelsea this term.

A third option which Juventus may be interested in is former Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.

Reports circulated last week that Manchester United and Liverpool were prepared to offer the American a way out of Stamford Bridge.

The American has been left frustrated by lack of game time at Chelsea, with the Blues boss even commenting on the matter.

However, it all contradicts with recent comments from Tuchel saying he is pleased with his current options at his players while dismissing talk of a move for Haaland.
