The Blues hope to raise money for their summer transfer plans by selling a highly-rated forward.
Chelsea have reportedly informed Hakim Ziyech that he is free to leave the club this summer.
Following a £33m move from Ajax in 2020, the Moroccan has struggled to find his best form under Thomas Tuchel. Having scored 14 goals in his 83 appearances for the Blues, Ziyech might leave Stamford Bridge before the next season.
According to 90min, Chelsea have already told Ziyech they are open to selling him this summer.
Milan are reportedly the 29-year-old’s main suitors. According to the Guardian, the Rossoneri have already opened talks with Chelsea over a possible transfer.
Ziyech’s possible transfer will open up space for Tuchel’s forward targets after Romelu Lukaku‘s return to Inter. The Blues have shown interest in signing Ousmane Dembele and Raheem Sterling earlier, with Ajax’s Antony being their newest target in the market.
Ziyech, however, might not be the last Chelsea forward to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. The futures of Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic are still uncertain.
Roma are also keen to add Ziyech to their ranks ahead of the next season. However, Milan have remained in pole position to sign the experienced winger.
