The Blues are open to selling their captain to the Catalan side this summer.

Chelsea reportedly demand a £7m fee for Cesar Azpilicueta amid serious interest from Barcelona.

Reports from various sources have revealed the 32-year-old already has a personal agreement in place with the Spanish giants.

The Catalans have increased their efforts to finalize the deal in recent days, with Chelsea now naming their asking price for the Spaniard.

According to Evening Standard, Chelsea want £7m to sell Azpilicueta this summer.

However, the English source claims negotiations could see Chelsea eventually agreeing to a lower fee for the player.

Barcelona have agreed to pay an £11m-per-season salary to the Spaniard. The defender has already held talks with new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly over his possible exit.

Following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, Tuchel is reportedly unwilling to let Azpilicueta leave his squad.

However, advanced talks with Manchester City over a move for Nathan Ake might convince the Blues to part ways with their captain.

Boehly met Barcelona president Joan Laporta earlier this week. The two have reportedly discussed deals for Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso. But it’s not clear whether both players would join Christensen at Camp Nou this summer.

The Blues are also in the race for Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt. However, Bayern Munich have emerged as the frontrunners to sign the Dutchman ahead of the next season.
