The Magpies are not planning to give on their dreams of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Newcastle are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.

Chelsea’s squad has consistently gotten more and more bloated since the club’s takeover last year. The new owners have already added 13 new players to Chelsea’s ranks as they are eager to salvage their disappointing debut campaign.

Chelsea are dealing with an injury crisis that, to some extent, justifies the new signings. However, more competition will be unavoidable once the injured players come back later this season.

Ziyech is among the players who are reportedly on Chelsea’s sell list ahead of the next summer. However, the Morocco international might decide to leave Stamford Bridge this month.

According to 90min, Ziyech’s representatives have already started their negotiations with Newcastle.

After his brilliant performances in the World Cup, Ziyech is keen to secure more playing time in a Premier League side. With Newcastle looking for more attacking reinforcement, the former Ajax star has reportedly emerged as one of their top targets.

Chelsea hope to sell Ziyech for a transfer fee this winter, but Newcastle might push to secure a loan move for the 29-year-old.

Newcastle are also eyeing possible moves for Connor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. But Chelsea are yet to give a green light for the pair’s departure.
