Chelsea still harbour interest in Declan Rice and a report claims they might be willing to sell players to fund a move for the West Ham star.

Chelsea and Frank Lampard’s interest in West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is an open secret as the clubs were apart in the valuation of the 21-year-old over the summer.

The Blues will reportedly return for the England International in January with discussions having been in place.

West Ham remain keen to keep the versatile defensive player as he has been influential in their bright start to the season.

However, they can be swayed if their price is met. To that effect, Chelsea have already lined up possible sales to raise funds for the transfer. The Blues are expected to go in once again for the 21-year-old in January.

A report by Football Insider claims the Blues are reportedly willing to sell Jorginho, Antonio Rudiger, and Marcos Alonso to finance a deal.

The aforementioned players no longer have guaranteed spots in the Chelsea XI and the Blues would be happy to cash in on any of the mentioned players.

Rice has mentioned that he still has a soft spot for his boyhood club Chelsea and there might be a chance a return could be on the cards.
