Let’s see how Chelsea performed against Sheffield United in the Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge. We have the Player Ratings.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea climbed up the Premier League table after beating the out-of-shape Sheffield United 4-1 at Stamford Bridge. The Blues managed to keep a clean sheet for the last five games, however, could not continue the streak.

Early in the ninth minute, the Chelsea defense was breached by the unpredictable Blades. Sander Berge’s attempt was diverted in by David McGoldrick past Edouard Mendy.

Although, Tammy Abraham lifted the hosts back in the game with his bobbled shot in the left bottom corner.

After coming back from injury, Hakim Ziyech however, displayed an architectural performance by grabbing two assists for Chelsea.

The first one was a floating ball towards Sheffield’s goal which was tucked in by Ben Chilwell from the far post.

The second goal came from a freekick won by James, which was swung in by Ziyech. Thiago Silva, who connected the header finally got his first Premier League goal for Chelsea.

To put things to bed, Timo Werner scored his fourth goal in the campaign against Sheffield who could not stand the strong force of the Londoners.
