The Blues were not clinical enough to convert their chances at the beginning of the second half. However, they found their rhythm soon and doubled their lead through a stunning strike from Reece James.
Juventus’ backline was completely shattered after the second goal as they conceded the third one only three minutes later. Callum Hudson-Odoi converted Loftus-Cheek’s assist after a brilliant piece of buildup play.
Despite being three goals ahead, Chelsea continued their brilliant football until the last minute. Timo Werner made it 4-0 for Thoams Tuchel’s side upon making his return from an injury.
Chelsea lead the Group H table with 12 points from their five matches. They have the same points tally as Juventus but with a better goal difference. The Blues will now prepare for their crucial Premier League battle against Manchester United on Sunday.
