After just 10 minutes on the referee’s watch, Mason Mount combined with the German to take the lead for the Blues. Havertz slotted home his fourth goal of the campaign in the domestic league.
The second half started positively for Chelsea as Havertz scored his second goal of the game in just four minutes. This time, Timo Werner helped his national colleague with a brilliant one-two pass on the edge of the box. The 21-year-old made no mistake with a calm finish in the bottom right corner.
