Chelsea have started the new campaign after a busy transfer window.

Chelsa drew 1-1 with Liverpool in their Premier League opener on Sunday. A thrilling game led to the two side’s seventh consecutive draw across all competitions.

Dream debut for Disasi!

Chelsea came into the game with three of their summer signings on the lineup.

Robert Sanchez stood between the hosts’ posts while Axel Disasi played on the right-hand side of Chelsea’s backline. Up front, Nicolas Jackson played in front of Carney Chukwuemeka, who joined Chelsea from Aston Villa earlier this summer.

Liverpool started off as the better side, with Luis Dias putting the visitors ahead in the 18th minute. The Portuguese star converted a brilliant assist from Mohamed Salah to score Liverpool’s first goal of the season.

Chelsea, however, managed to gradually get back into the game by dominating the possession.

The Blues finally found the equalizer in the 37th minute, with Disasi scoring in his Chelsea debut. Ben Chilwell’s header found the Frenchman in the perfect spot, who made it 1-1 by beating Alisson Becker in a one-on-one situation.

Chelsea had the bigger share of goal attempts in the second period but none of the two sides managed to find the match-winner at Stamford Bridge.
