At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea had a visit from Burnley in the Premier League. Let’s take a look at the player ratings of this encounter.

League leaders Chelsea entered this Premier League game against Burnley with a two-point lead over Manchester City. Having won their last seven fixtures across all competitions, the Londoners were eyeing a five-point lead with a win tonight at Stamford Bridge.

The Clarets took out Brentford in their previous game in the league last week and hoped to shift up from the bottom of the table. Sean Dyche and his men had a big test in front of them as they faced the Blues at their home turf this evening.

Chelsea dominated the entire game with constant threat from all sides, but could not get the three points that they were hoping to achieve. Kai Havertz and Reece James combination gifted the home side with a lead in the first half.

A swerving cross from James was connected by the German forward to score the opener of the game in the 33rd minute. But, there was late drama in the match as Burnley produced the equaliser late in the 79th minute.

With this draw, the local team stays on top of the league with 26 points, whereas, the visiting side move up to the 18th spot hoping to stay clear from the relegation zone.
