January signings are slowly finding their respective places in Graham Potter’s lineup.

Chelsea drew 0-0 with Fulham in their Premier League on Friday. The Blues drop points at Stamford Bridge as pressure mounts on Graham Potter to improve his side’s form.

Fernandez makes his Chelsea debut!

Potter decided to start Enzo Fernandez in his Chelsea debut, with Mykhailo Mudryk and Benoit Badiashile being the other January signings who made the starting lineup.

Fulham started off as the better side at Stamford Bridge, creating a few early chances. But then Chelsea came back to increase the pressure on their opponents’ backline.

Kai Havertz hit the post as he missed his second golden opportunity in the first half. Before the break, Alexander Mitrovic came close to scoring, but a timely block from Badiashile saved Chelsea.

Surprisingly, the pace of the game dropped significantly after the break. Fulham were arguably the better side at the beginning of the second period, trying to get inside Chelsea’s box through long balls.

The Blues pushed hard to get the match-winner in the final 20 minutes. An error from Bernd Leno nearly cost Fulham a goal, but Wesley Fofana failed to slot the shot into the open net.

The draw was enough for Chelsea to leapfrog Liverpool from the ninth spot. The Blues must take on West Ham in a London derby next weekend.
