Check out the latest Championship predictions and betting tips for the fixtures set to take place on Wednesday here at Ace Football.

 ⚽ Burnley vs Stoke City

Our Championship predictions begin at Turf Moor. Burnley will look to get back on the winning trail when they host Stoke City. A last-gasp equalizer cost Vincent Kompany’s side three points in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against a managerless Cardiff City.

The fifth-placed hosts are six points and 13 spots above the 18th-placed Stoke, who crashed to a 4-0 home defeat to Watford last time out.

⚽ Hull City vs Wigan Athletic

A managerless Hull City welcome Wigan Athletic to the MKM Stadium. The Tigers extended their losing streak to five games last time out by losing 2-0 to Luton Town. They’re 20th in the Championship table, five points and 10 spots behind their 10th-placed opponents.

Wigan, on the other hand, are loving life on the road. The Latics have the best away record in the league after five matches (W4 D1). They’ve also won their last four road trips, scoring seven goals and conceding just twice.

 ⚽ Middlesbrough vs Birmingham City

The post-Chris Wilder era begins for Middlesbrough on Wednesday. The 22th-placed Boro host Birmingham City at the Riverside Stadium. They lost 1-0 to Coventry City last weekend, which extended their winless run to three games (D1 L2), and dropped them into the relegation zone.

While a 1-1 draw at Championship leaders Sheffield United extended Birmingham’s unbeaten run to four matches (W2 L2), leaving them three points and six places clear of Middlesbrough in 16th.

 ⚽ Rotherham United vs Millwall

Matt Taylor will make his debut as Rotherham’s newest manager for the clash with Millwall. The Millers crashed to a 2-0 home defeat to Wigan last time out, leaving them 14th in the Championship.

Millwall also lost their last match, slipping to a 2-1 defeat away to Blackburn Rovers. The 17th-placed visitors have bagged two consecutive 1-0 wins over Rotherham though, and another close game could be on the cards here.

 ⚽ Watford vs Swansea

Slaven Bilic takes charge of his first game at Vicarage Road tonight. The Watford boss should be confident after seeing his new side thrash Stoke City 4-0 on his debut. The Hornets are just one point adrift of a playoff spot, sitting eighth in the Championship with 17 points.

Swansea are only two points behind in 12th though, and arrive off the back of a 3-2 win at West Brom. In our opinion, this game will be a much sterner test for Bilic.

 ⚽ Preston vs West Brom

Two sides struggling for three points meet at the Deepdale Stadium. Preston North End are on a four-match winless run, while West Brom have won none of their last seven games (D4 L3). The lack of results has left manager Steve Bruce in the firing line once more.
