Champions League last 16 draw: Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid discover next opponents

The draw for the 2022/23 Champions League knockout stages takes place on Monday, with some mouth-watering ties lying in wait already.

Clubs discovered their fates on Monday afternoon at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, for the last-16 stage in the Champions League.

UEFA divided clubs into two separate pots for the draw – one for seeded group winners and the other for unseeded runners-up.

The seeded teams (group winners) play the second leg of their last 16 ties at home, while the unseeded clubs (runners-ups) host the first leg.

Below are the results from the last 16 draw that took place in Nylon on Monday.

First legs: February 14 & 15, 2023 – February 21 & 22, 2023.

Second legs: March 7 & 8, 2023 – March 14 & 15, 2023

Quarter-finals

First legs: April 11-12, 2023

Semi-finals

First legs: May 9-10, 2023

Second legs: May 16-17, 2023

Final

The 2022/23 Champions League final takes place on June 10, 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey.
