Elite European sides have discovered their opponents for the upcoming tournament.
The Champions League draw for the 2023-24 season took place on Thursday, with Newcastle being handed a tough test upon their return to the competition.
A total of thirty-two teams were divided into four pots, adhering to the rule that teams cannot face opponents from their own country. Eight groups were formed from Europe’s best clubs, with Group F standing out as the toughest one.
Paris Saint-Germain will face Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Newcastle in this year’s “Group of Death”. Luis Enrique faces a difficult test in his first season in charge of PSG, while Newcastle hope to edge out clubs with much more European experience.
