Champions League: Arsenal & Man City learn last-16 opponents

The Premier League heavyweights have discovered their Champions League opponents after the draw for the round of 16.

Arsenal will play against FC Porto in the Champions League last 16, while Manchester City, who are the current cup holders, will face FC Copenhagen.

The draw for the knockout stage was held in Nyon, Switzerland, on Monday. The draw had the potential for tough matchups. Only two Premier League clubs (Arsenal and Manchester City) were in the draw. They both progressed as group winners. Arsenal topped Group B with 13 points from six games, while City won Group G with 18 points.

When will the last 16 games take place?

The knockout stages of the Champions League will continue in 2024. The first legs are planned for February 13/14 and 20/21, and the second legs will finish on March 5/6 and 12/13. The draw for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will happen on Friday, March 15.
