The Spanish and European champions have made two new signings and have also seen five players leave so far this summer.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled the club out of making any more signings this summer.

Fresh from their successful La Liga and Champions League campaigns in 2021/22, Real Madrid have since signed Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer and AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni for €80 million since the transfer window reopened at beginning of the month.

Gareth Bale, Isco, Marcelo, and Luka Jovic have all left the Bernabeu as free agents. Victor Chust, meanwhile, has joined Cadiz for €1 million.

Ancelotti rules out any more transfers

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday in the United States, the manager quickly shut down the prospect of any more new additions.

“I can tell you we won’t sign anyone. We’re fine as it is,” Ancelotti said.

On his two new signings, Ancelotti added: “They will bring a lot of quality to the squad. Rudiger is a great center-back who can play in different positions, while Tchouameni is the same as a midfielder. He is younger but is already playing for the France national team.

“Competition in the squad is the key to success. They both only arrived today. Of course they’ll need some time to adapt, but not too much since they have so much quality.”

Real Madrid will face Barcelona, Club America, and Juventus as part of their Soccer Champions Tour in the US.

The Spanish champions will take on Barcelona first on July 24 in Las Vegas.
