Having arrived at Westfalenstadion only last summer, the English teenager has established himself as a key figure in the team.

Jude Bellingham has no “no limit” to what he can accomplish on the pitch, according to his and ‘s former coach Mike Dodds.

Bellingham became the youngest ever first-team player for Birmingham City aged just 16 years and 38 days upon making his debut for the club back in 2019.

It did not take long for him to gain prominence, and the midfielder became a transfer target for a host of European heavyweights including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich.

Considered as one of the most exciting young talents, the teenager, attracted by the club’s prowess in developing and polishing young players, chose Borussia Dortmund as his next destination.

He had a flying start to life in his new club, scoring in his first competitive appearances and becoming their youngest ever goalscorer in the process.

“Last year, at the end of the season, I briefly coached with the first team, so I actually did his first and last training session at Birmingham,” Dodds told Goal and DAZN.

“He was the youngest player to ever play for our first team, and he looked like he had made a hundred league games. He was so calm, as if he had been born for this stage.

“When he got into the first team, we knew that his time with us was limited. He always needs the next challenge. If he doesn’t have that, he’ll get frustrated.

“You can put him in any environment. He’ll punch his way through. Everything. I think he can do everything – and I’m not just saying that. He has everything you can ask a midfielder to do. There is no limit on the pitch. He can achieve anything he wants. It’s the real love for football that makes it so good.”

Bellingham has racked up 27 appearances across all competitions this season.
