Burnley faced Manchester City at Turf Moor this Wednesday afternoon in the Premier League. We have the player ratings.

Manchester City looked unstoppable at this Wednesday’s clash against Burnley away from home. In fact, the Clarets rarely managed to disturb Ederson as the Citizens bagged their 13th clean sheet of the season.

Guardiola’s side put a stop to whatever hopes Burnley had very early on in the game as Gabriel Jesus hit the net just three minutes in. The Brazilian striker enjoyed a rebound off Pope’s save after Bernardo Silva’s powerful shot. As he scored the opening goal, Jesus became the eight South American player to score over 45 goals in the Premier League.

Just before half-time, the Citizens increased their lead with a wonderful play. Mahrez received a ball from Ruben Dias in the right-win and patiently waited for an opening. The winger passed the ball to Gundongan after spotting his run, who delivered a perfect assist for Sterling’s tap-in. This had to be a special one for Raheem as he made his 400th club appearance against Burnley.
