Manchester United have been linked with Jadon Sancho but will have to wait another year for the English sensation.

Jadon Sancho has been impressive in Bundesliga. His employers Borussia Dortmund are aware that they have a generational talent on their hands.

Sancho can prove to be pivotal in Dortmund’s bid to dethrone Bayern Munich in German top-flight football. They do not want their creative driving force to leave.

Manchester United have been delivered the message that Sancho would not leave this transfer window. But their 2-1 dismantling by Sevilla has rekindled links with the English international.

Paul Scholes believes had Sancho been in the United squad against Sevilla, they would have won.

Roman Burki disagrees and has rub salt in the Red Devils wounds. The Swiss footballer has told them to wait another year as he coyly suggested Sancho would remain a world-class player even then.

“Jadon will still be a top player next year,” Burki told Kicker. “He’s not running out of time.”

He added: “I don’t think Jadon is sad to continue to be part of Borussia Dortmund. He comes to training with a smile and is happy to be with us.”

Meanwhile, Juventus attacker Douglas Costa has been offered to Manchester United. Andrea Pirlo does not fancy the Brazilian forward and he is on his way out of the Allianz Stadium.
