After a prolific campaign in the Bundesliga, Sasa Kalajdzic has reportedly become a subject of transfer interest to Chelsea.

Sasa Kalajdzic has refused to rule anything out amid reports linking him with a summer move to Chelsea.

The 24-year-old scored an impressive 16 goals in his first-ever Bundesliga campaign last term to help Stuttgart preserve their top-flight status since winning promotion with a respectable ninth-place.

According to The Athletic, Kalajdzic’s form has caught Thomas Tuchel’s eye. The Chelsea coach has reportedly shortlisted the 24-year-old as a cheaper alternative to fellow Bundesliga targets Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

And while Kalajdzic, who is under contract at Stuttgart until 2023, can see himself signing a new deal at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, he won’t rule out anything else either.

“Of course I can imagine extending my contract, but that would also have to fit. It’s not just me who decides that; it’s also decided by others,” the Austrian told Kleine Zeitung.

“Something would have to come along that would just fit, and then we’ll see. If there’s something that really impresses me, where I say I want to do that, then I’ll do it.

“I am relaxed. I don’t really think about it much. I’m just here right now, having fun with my friends and trying to prepare for every single training session.”

Aside from Haaland and Lewandowski, Romelu Lukaku has also been linked with a return to Chelsea.
