Hertha BSC will welcome Eintracht Frankfurt in the round opener on Friday evening, as we have nine games on the schedule over the next three days.

Wondering what to watch? Acefootball has created a list of the three most interesting clashes for you!

Leverkusen vs RB Leipzig

Last season’s Champions League semi-finalists RB Leipzig started off their 2020-21 campaign with a 3-1 win over Mainz last weekend.

They now travel to Bayer Leverkusen, who only drew 0-0 at Wolfsburg in the opening round, back on Sunday.

This is a clash that guarantees goals, chances, and entertainment. The total amount of goals scored in the four games Leverkusen played host to Leipzig is 17, which is an average of 4,25 per game.

The match is scheduled at 15:30 (CET) on Saturday afternoon.

Augsburg vs Borussia Dortmund

At the same time that afternoon, Borussia Dortmund travel to Augsburg for their first away game of the season.

The last time these sides met at the WWK Arena, the Black and Yellows won the game 5-3 with Erling Braut Haaland netting a hat-trick on his Bundesliga debut.

Both Augsburg and Dortmund started off the 2020-21 season with a victory last weekend, netting three past Union Berlin and Monchengladbach respectively.

Hoffenheim vs Bayern Munich

Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich enjoyed an impressive end of the 2020-21 campaign, winning the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the Champions League.

The Bavarians had an even more impressive start of the new season, thrashing Schalke 8-0 at the Allianz Arena last Friday.

They now visit Hoffenheim, looking to register their 23rd consecutive win across all competitions. The kick-off time of the game is 15:30 (CET) on Sunday.
