After hearing what Roy Keane had to say about his complaints to criticism, Bruno Fernandes decided to continue his defense and responded.

Bruno Fernandes is making enemies everyday at Manchester United and Roy Keane appears to be one of them. You all know how the Irish former player can be harsh most of the time during his work as a pundit. Keane is the type of person who doesn’t like beating around the bush and simply tells it like it is. In his view, Bruno’s recent comments against his critics were completely unnecessary. He just needs to ignore what people talk about him and continue with his progression.

Thus far, Fernandes has done very well for himself by participating in 55 goals out of 63 matches played at United. In Roy Keane’s world, those numbers need to be accompanied by a silent personality that doesn’t complain about any type of criticism. But Bruno will always fight for what he thinks is fair. After the Irishman called him a ‘baby’ on the air, Fernandes wanted to respond.

Fernandes didn’t address Keane directly.

Instead of addressing Roy Keane’s criticism directly, Bruno was smart by stating the following: “Every penalty has the same pressure for me,” he told MUTV. “It’s always pressure to take a pen, doesn’t matter if it’s against City, or another team. It’s always pressure to take the pens. I like that kind of pressure. It’s good pressure. I knew what I had to do. I did it in the right way with the right power and I’m happy to score, of course.

“Honestly for us it’s about winning. People will always complain about everything. Today it will still be Bruno never scores in big games. They will put open play no goals, it was a penalty [and say] it doesn’t count! So for us the most important thing is winning the game. It doesn’t matter how you score, when the ball touches the net it’s a goal. I will be happy and it doesn’t matter if it’s me or another one scoring.”
