City will face the Seagulls in one of their crucial remaining games in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola has warned Manchester City to stay motivated ahead of their remaining games in the Premier League.

The Citizens have continued their relentless chasing of Arsenal at the top of the league table in recent weeks. The Gunners’ draw against Liverpool last weekend enabled City to move within six points of the league leaders.

Guardiola’s men also have a game at hand, for which they must travel to Brighton.

“The reality is we are six points behind no guarantee we will win the games ahead,” the Spaniard said.

“The best team at making the build-up in the world is Brighton. There is no team better that make the process to get the goalkeeper to bring the ball into to the last quarter.

“We need to win our games, that is the reality. At the end of the games we will see the reality.”

He added: “Everyone knows if we lose those games we will not win the title that is why our intentions and details are higher. It is the same tomorrow, if we lose the game we will not be champions.”

In addition to the Premier League, City are still competing in both the Champions League and the FA Cup. Following their upcoming league match against Leicester City, Guardiola’s men will travel to Germany to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their UCL quarter-final game on Wednesday.
