The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored nine goals in his last six Premier League outings.
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter has been left ‘so impressed’ by Cristiano Ronaldo’s form.
The 37-year-old forward has been a bright spot in a dismal season for Manchester United. He is the Premier League’s third-highest scorer with 18 goals this season. That’s more league goals than Bruno Fernandes (10), Marcus Rashford (4), and Jadon Sancho (3) combined.
He also scored a brilliant low curling drive in his last encounter with Brighton on February 15 to help United win 2-0 at Old Trafford.
Now Ronaldo heads to the Amex this Saturday, hoping to help the Red Devils overcome Potter’s Brighton side again.
“I have been so impressed with him [Ronaldo],” said Potter during a pre-match press conference about Ronaldo.
“How he has played, how he has helped his team, scoring and assisting goals.
“You can see how his game has developed from wide to centrally and how that has helped him.
“He’s not getting any younger but you still retain your brain, your standing in football, and his finishing is as clinical as you will get. It’s a great experience for our players. Hopefully, he doesn’t have as good an experience at the Amex this Saturday.”
At the time of writing, betting on Ronaldo to score at anytime against Brighton on Saturday returns odds of 2.23 with Mr. Green. This implies he has a 45% chance of finding the back of the net.
