BREAKING: Urgent update about Ibrahimovic’s COVID-19 situation

AC Milan released an urgent statement to inform the supporters and the world about Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s COVID-19 situation. 

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been infected with COVID-19 for the better part of two weeks now, he missed some important AC Milan matches. The Swedish striker released a video a few days back of his recovery, where he proved he wasn’t doing badly. However, last week’s tests revealed that the player still had the virus in his system and he couldn’t shake it off.

But today, something changed everything for the player and the club. We can safely tell you that COVID-19 loss its battle against Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as we all expected. The forward did warn us how infecting him was a bad idea and he delivered on what everybody expected.

Ibra took two consecutive swab tests this week that finally came out negative, which confirms the news. Now that he is no longer infected, Zlatan can return to practice with his teammates and go back to his Serie A assault.

This was posted on AC Milan’s official website and throughout their social media channels: “OFFICIAL STATEMENT: ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIĆ. The Rossonero forward has ended his quarantine. AC Milan announces that Zlatan Ibrahimović has tested negative to two consecutive swabs. The City of Milan Health Authorities have terminated his quarantine.”

This news comes as a great breath of fresh air for AC Milan’s upcoming matches in all competitions. But especially ahead of the Milano Derby, which was in serious danger of not taking place due to both clubs having infected players.

With Zlatan’s recent diagnosis, there’s a better chance for this game to take place as soon as the international break comes to an end. It’s great knowing that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has defeated the virus. He is back!
